Outsourcing is contracting another company or person to do a particular function. Outsourcing may now be directly related to the call center industry but the term actually covers an even larger perspective and almost every company outsources in some way. What companies normally outsource are those functions that are non-core to the business. This may include legal consultation, accounting services, or janitorial jobs.

Outsourcing may be categorized into inshoring/onshoring, nearshoring and offshoring. Inshoring is when your provider is from the same country. Nearshoring is when, for example, a company in the US outsource a business process to a provider in Mexico. And offshoring is when a US based company outsource to a Philippine-based provider.

The Philippines has become a very popular offshoring destination. This is basically because Filipinos are well-versed in the English language and are pretty much adept with the western culture. The Filipinos are also very creative which makes the Philippines the best destination for creative works like graphic design, web design, flash design, creative writing and other artistic work.

I have come across this website MicroSourcing.com which pretty much covers everything about outsourcing and seems to be a rather pleasant outsourcing provider to work with. Looking at the pictures of the members of their management team, they seem to exude a rather fun yet professional working environment. With their very transparent pricing structure, I know that I am working with an honest company who is not all profit but puts more emphasis on values, efficiency and effectivity. Judging from the website, I can say that should there be a need for me to get into offshoring, I will definitely choose to Outsource in the Philippines and with MicroSourcing.

Human resources is perhaps one of the most important aspect of everyone’s business. Without employees, you will be out of business. Finding the right people for the position may be tough since it includes a lot of factors. First factor is the education and work experience. Another factor will be the personality and character of the employee. Personally, I never had a hard time looking for people with the right education and work experience. We have a lot of graduates out there every year, and all of them registers in online resume databases and apply online. I have come across TruGreen and they have an online list of openings in their company, which is pretty much the same as what most companies do nowadays.

What is more difficult to find is the person with a good work attitude. There are a lot of intelligent individuals out there, yet only a number of them has a good work attitude. Either they are too full of themselves that they do not listen nor respect authority anymore or they just jump ship after getting a better offer from another company. Finding someone with the right attitude and the right education can be tough at times. In this cases, you have to weigh your options very carefully: will you go for someone who has great skills but with a bad attitude or for someone who has lesser skills but great attitude.

You have invested a lot on your business. You could have invested your life savings, your time, and your effort on it. Your life basically revolves around making your business a success. This story is basically true to most of us. Our life revolves around our business, yet some of us forget one important thing: getting into business has a lot of risks. This is the reason why we have to keep our business protected in all possible ways and to avoid as much hassles as you can. If you have an American Home Shield and other forms of warranties and insurances for your house, you should also do the same for your business.

There are a lot of types of insurance being offered to businesses and those can be good investments. If your business involves a higher fire risk, then getting a fire insurance is definitely a must. For jewelry stores, you should not think twice on getting an insurance against theft and robbery.

Cockroaches, termites, rodents, and other pests can be a problem when moving to an office or when you are occupying a rather old office space. Nothing can be more embarrassing than having cockroaches fly around when you have a client visiting. Interviewees might also cancel their application after seeing rats run across the office table. It is a problem that needs to be and can be solved immediately. All you need is some professional pest control service like Terminix.

If you are occupying a new office, pest problems can easily be prevented. It only requires a clear rule on office cleanliness. Keeping food in the fridge, cleaning up your desks, and regular office cleaning can definitely save you from having flying cockroaches or having rats run and play all over your office. Having a clean and pest free office is also a requirement when renewing your business license, especially for restaurants and hospitals. You would surely not want to put your business at risk just because you want to save money from cleaning.

Your office reflects a lot about your personality and your company. It is the place where you privately meet with clients or prospective clients. It shows your clients what you are and somehow gives them the impression on what you can do for them and will it be good. This is why in designing your office and in choosing your office decors, it is very important to keep your services and your company profile in mind. If you have a consulting firm, your office should give the same impression - that you are a company that they can trust and knows a lot about the games of the trade. If you are a design company, it will be ideal to showcase your creativity and designs in your office. Same goes for architectural firms. Rugs can somehow help you set the mood in your office. Putting rugs can give your office an elegant or more funky feel.Rugs need not be expensive, there are Discount Rugs that you can buy at a cheap price. Area Rugs are great decors and gives your office a different look and feel. It can make your office look sophisticated, trendy, classy, funky or hip, depending on the rug design that you choose.

With the competition growing every moment, it is very important to give your prospective clients a very good first impression. Looking at your office should not give them an idea that you are just a fly-by-night company or just a bunch of newbies trying hard to get a deal. It should give them the idea that you know what you are doing and that you are the best people for the job. Same goes with recruitment. Some candidates feel more comfortable working for a ohas the prestigious feel in it and a great looking office that goes with it.

Deciding on location can play a vital role when starting a business. It can affect your business quite substantially. It can lead to growth or in the worse case, bankruptcy. Location is crucial. Some businesses may do good in one place then bad on another. In this case, you may need to move your business to another location. Business relocation can also be a result of not being able to get qualified candidates for your requirements. As HR Manager, I had experiences having people cancel their application because our office is just too far from their homes and they are not willing to relocate. It makes recruitment difficult and having highly qualified people is very important in making a business work. Relocation, in this case can also be an option.

However, in business moving, it is very important for you to study things very thoroughly before you make a move. You would not want to make the same mistakes again. Consider all aspects of your business - finance, your target market, recruitment and all other things. It is better if you can find a location where all these aspects are present but in case you don’t, you have to weigh things and try to make things work positively. If you find a place where you can find really qualified people but with tough competition, you will have to scrutinize it’s pros and cons. Think if you will be able to win the competition or not. If not, then you might consider just providing a housing program or a higher than standard salary to your personnel which can be costly but can be worth the investment.

Business relocation does not only mean moving from one place to another because things did not work out. It can also mean that business is doing great that requires you to move to a bigger office space. However, there are also factors that you will need to consider on deciding where you will move your office. There are some personnels who may not be comfortable or amenable to the move. In this case, you may have to adjust salaries. In this case, it is better if you can find a place within the vicinity - much better if it is in the same building.

You may not have realized it yet. You might think your business is safe so you do not need a lawyer. Yet, in this time where anyone can sue for almost anything, it is better to give yourself some kind of a legal backbone. You need to have a sound contract, company policies, terms and conditions, and all other documents. This will help you ensure that you don’t have loopholes which will give anyone a chance to sue your company. It is also best to have an estate lawyer who can take care of your assets and properties. It is ideal to have a lawyer who is familiar with the laws of your State, if you are in San Diego, then get a san diego estate attorney.

There are laws in one state or country that may be different in another state or country. Like a certain law in the United Kingdom may not be applicable in the Philippines. Your lawyer will be able to judge and amend your legal documents in such a way that you are protected from any conflict that may arise. This kind of analysis is definitely more important if you deal with international clients.

To save money, more and more companies outsource their business processes to other countries like India, Philippines, Indonesia, and China. This practice is also commonly known as offshoring or business process outsourcing (BPO) or just outsourcing. Outsourcing covers almost anything - from getting a virtual assistant, to web design, accounting, human resource, and a lot more. The most commonly outsourced business process includes technical support, customer service and telemarketing.

Countries like India and the Philippines offer these services at a cost that is way cheaper. Customer service representatives in India and the Philippines are earning only about $2000 per year while a customer service representative in the United States could be earning around 25,000.00. Offshoring can also be ideal for start up companies. This gives them a talent pool of competent employees at a cost cheaper than what they will pay when they hire someone from the locality. Although offshoring also has disadvantages, the benefits of outsourcing with the right company can definitely help businesses take on new heights.

In marketing, there are basically three very important things that you should know before you take another step. One is knowing your product - everything about it, from its strengths to its weaknesses. Second is your competitor. You have to identify your competitors, their products, the strengths, and the weaknesses. Last, will be your market. You have to know where and to whom you need to sell. If your products are lab incubators, you will not sell it in a hardware. If you do web design, you don’t advertise in a slum area where nobody knows how to even use the internet.

Once you know all these three factors, you can now start formulating your marketing campaign. Your campaign, of course, needs to put emphasis on your product’s strengths. Focus more on your advantage over your competitors. Then, put your ads in places and media that also targets your target market.

One of my friends started a business a few years ago and so far, business is doing fine. His company has grown from 5 to 20 staff. With the increasing number of clients, they had to somehow reinvest. They have earned some money but since he has a family to support, he cannot afford to just put all his money on his business. Since he is an heir to his grandfather’s estate, he was able to file for cash advance probate loans over his inheritance.

Probate cash advance are not really loans where you have to pay a certain interest rate. It has a fixed rate which is equal to a certain percentage of the inheritance. I can say that it is somehow a wise decision on his part. He still has money in the bank which earns interest and he was able to expand his business by using money from what he cannot literally use yet.
